Peanut

Today is the long awaited day to receive the love letter from HR, or known as the Increment Letter. The stack of letter was in the manager's room since Friday but all we can do is to see it but cannot touch it :(

The much awaited anticipation ended up with disappointment. The increment is smaller than a peanut!! My gosh.. how am I going to survive? Few BUCKS! Come on!!!

Hot Air Ballon Fiesta

The annual event is back and lucky enough this time I was able to attend the event. It was my first and I did have a blast of my time especially when I own a DSLR now. The place was packed with people, young and old, packed with camera, big and small, but the amount of ballon was not as much as what I thought it will be. We saw some on the broucher but it wasnt there. Wonder why, perhaps its up in the sky.

The large area was divided into a few sections and one of the sections was actually guarded. We though, we need a ticket or something, but in fact owning a DSLR is the golden ticket to the compound. Those who does not own one, are actually not allowed to enter. I actually feel as if its a honour :)

Along with my friend, we snap our way through the whole morning and walking around the whole area, doing crazy post, jumping around was so much fun. That is why I am paying the price now, having backache yesterday and a limping right leg today. Haha...

2 and a half inch fall

There I was happily wearing my new heels to work today and off I go for lunch and ***** I fell!!!  I wonder how many pair of eyes was looking at me, but I just got up and continue walking without looking around, act as if nothing has happen.Gosh!!!

But luckily I didnt fall on my back, I fall as if I am going to sit down. If I were to fall backwards, I couldnt imagine what will happen considering I am wearing a white skirt. Free lunch show I guess ;)

Flowers in the sky

Have you ever how does a flower looks like it if were to grow in the sky? Well to some, they would call it fireworks. Nowadays fireworks are sold illegally but often times I still see young man selling them in the morning market, especially when the festive seasons are here.

I was about 8 years old when I experience lighting and setting my own fireworks out to the sky. My dad bought those without my mom knowing and I was actually out in the garden playing alone. Hmm.. how come my mom are not worried that I might lose a finger or hand?

I just love the effect of the firework let loose it the sky, its simply like a piece of art. At every chinese new year especially I will stand out in the garden admiring those that were set by my neighbours, its simply spectacular.

But this Chinese New Year, I get to experience another thrill, I not only get to watch, I get to snap as well!
